On Thursday, May 4th, from 3:00-5:00pm, residents of western Montgomery County are being asked to bring their ideas for what they would like to see in their communities. The conversation will center on what kinds of spaces and places residents want or need the most. Whether you’ve been thinking about a neighborhood garden or skatepark, street lights or something else, it’s time to bring your ideas to the table to see what can be created in your community.

To help with getting ideas from residents in western Montgomery County, an online survey has been put together to hear from you. What do you love about your community? What would you like to see? It’s all about hearing from folks and learning what you’d like to see. The survey just takes a few minutes and will help with understanding what’s important to you.

Community leaders will be on hand to answer questions and be part of the conversation

Talk with community leaders, along with event organizers from the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District, about your ideas for your community. Take the survey, meet at Haslett Park, and share what you want to see in your town or village. Getting ideas  from residents is the first step to creating the places and spaces you want to see in western Montgomery County. Can’t wait to see you there!
