Makers of the Mohawk Valley Exhibit now through November 10th
Herkimer College kicked off its Fall Fest & Alumni weekend on Friday, Sept. 29, with an opening reception of the Makers of the Mohawk Valley art exhibition at the Cogar Gallery.
Popular exhibit now in its second year
The Makers of the Mohawk Valley exhibit now in its second year showcases the diverse richness of artists, crafters, and other creatives living and working in the Mohawk Valley region.
Visitors to the exhibit will enjoy paintings, photography, and mixed media pieces by regional artists as well as alumni and staff from the College community including Herkimer College Studio Art A.S. major, Leeanna Bala.
According to Justin Como, Herkimer College associate professor of studio art and exhibit coordinator, the goal of the exhibit is to shine a light on the diverse richness of makers in Herkimer, Oneida, and surrounding counties.
Many of the pieces are available for purchase and listed at the Gallery. Interested patrons are asked to contact Como at firstname.lastname@example.org.
