Mohawk Valley Featured Weekend Events in Upstate NY: April 25-27

There are lots of events happening this weekend in Upstate New York’s Mohawk Valley. Thanks to Barneveld, Coopersown, Fort Johnson, Frankfort, Little Falls,  Gloversville, Oneonta and more, for sharing events with us! Fresh produce can be found this week at the Oneonta Winter Farmers’ Market, and the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market. Don’t forget to get local produce for your favorite recipes at local area farm stores!

Spring Story Time will be held for five consecutive Fridays from April 18 to May 16, 10:15–11 am, at the Old Forge Library, 220 Crosby Blvd.

Designed for children ages 3–6, Story Time is a fun, engaging experience led by a friendly and enthusiastic library staff. During these 45-minute sessions, children will enjoy a variety of activities, including storytelling, creative play, games, crafts, songs, and other interactive activities designed to inspire imagination and creative thinking. National Historic Marker Day

The Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist is set to participate in National Historic Marker Day. On Friday, April 25th, at 11:00 a.m., Jennifer Donovan and others from Fulton County Center for Regional Growth will be cleaning historic markers throughout Downtown Gloversville. Local residents are invited to join in to help spruce up historic markers. Adam Ezra Group Concert at Unity Hall in Barneveld

New England Music Award’s “Americana Act of the Year” the Adam Ezra Group Concert at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Unity Hall located at 101 Vanderkemp Ave Barneveld, NY. Unity Hall is over-the-moon and expecting a sell-out performance on Friday, April 25 when the skyrocketing national touring band the Adam Ezra Group (AEG) takes the stage. Intermediate Blacksmithing

Intermediate Blacksmithing workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Fenimore Farm and Country Village located 5775 NY-80 in Cooperstown, NY. Forge your own cooking fork in the historic Field Blacksmith Shop! Participants will be expected to have prior blacksmithing experience and an understanding of the tools and basic techniques. This workshop will cover splitting and tapering tines, rounding material using a swage set, forging set-downs, and bending. All workshops require advance registration. SHIFT NY Holistic & Psychic Fair

The Shift NY Holistic and Psychic Fair begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Fox Care Center located  at 1 Foxcare Drive, Oneonta, NY. In its 20th year, The SHIFT NY Holistic & Psychic Fair introduces you to top Holistic Practitioners, Psychics, Vendors, and Spiritual Teachers from the Northeast who have tried and true answers to many of your questions. Community of Little Falls Town Hall

The Community of Little Falls Town Hall will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Little Falls Elks Lodge located at 2 West Gansvoort Street, Little Falls, NY. This event will mark the first in a series of public discussions centered around issues facing Little Falls residents. This hybrid event will also be accessible online via Zoom. MCSPCA 2nd Annual Pastel for Pets Spring Gala

The Montgomery County SPCA invites everyone to come dressed to impress in your favorite spring pastel attire for the 2nd Annual Pastels for Pets Spring Gala, sponsored by BBL Construction Services, LLC. Farmers’ Markets

Get jams, honey and more at the Oneonta Winter Farmers Market from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays at Foothills located at 24 Market Street, and at the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There is still time to have fun during the “Hardy Locavore” challenge to reward shoppers at its Winter Saturday Markets. By shopping 10 times at the farmers’ market between January 11 and April 26, people will receive a free cotton canvas box tote.
