Paint the Town with Friends of St. Johnsville

It was recently announced that community volunteers with the group the Friends of St Johnsville, along with support from the Bridge Street Diner, will “Paint the Town as part of a community improvement initiative. The project will be offering complimentary exterior painting services to property owners within the Main Street Commercial District in the Village of St. Johnsville.

Friends of St. Johnsville

The Friends of St. Johnsville is a 501c3 Not For Profit corporation.  The organization is made up of volunteers who are committed to advocate for the commercial district of the village and to promote quality of life issues that will benefit the residents and business owners of the historic Town and Village of St. Johnsville and its surrounding areas.  As an all volunteer organization, they assist with the work of the charity as well as provide information to others who may want help in improving the communities where they live and work.

The volunteers with Friends of St. Johnsville and the Bridge Street Diner are just one example we find in the Mohawk Valley of what can be done when people come together for the common good. The work they do in and for the community is a great example for all of us. By taking pride in one’s community and taking steps every day to make things better for the entire community. We can’t wait to see what the Friends of St. Johnsville will accomplish!

Paint the Town!

We’re thrilled to announce that together with The Bridge Street Diner and community volunteers, FoSTJ will be offering exterior painting services free of charge to all property owners within the Commercial District of the Village of St. Johnsville. 

Now that letters have been sent to property owners, we just thought we’d share the good news with all of you. 

We will aim to get started in the spring. 

Would you like to volunteer to lend a hand? Maybe you’d like to send a donation over? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Together we can help move our community forward!
