Say “Cheese” at the Little Falls Cheese Festival this Saturday, October 1, 2022

This year’s annual Little Falls Cheese Festival promises to be a great event with over 120 different cheese varieties and plenty of gourmet food to be enjoyed by all. The Cheese Festival is on the first Saturday in October, centrally located in Little Falls, NY, and is the only festival of its kind in all of New York State. Choose from a great variety of cheeses, including goat cheese, from New York’s finest cheese producers.

The Little Falls Cheese Festival, now in its 7th year harkens back to Little Falls’ history in the cheese market during the mid-to-late 19th century. By 1864, journalist Xerxes Willard was reporting weekly on the cheese market and set the stage for Little Falls to be at the center of global cheese trade. This combined with D.H Burrell’s innovation and published lists of recommended dairy farmers and cheese producers kept the momentum going.

Enjoy vendors, music, entertainment and food for a day out filled with fun and the best cheese in the state!

Admission is free and the food will be plentiful. Free parking is available so follow the signs for parking and the shuttle buses will take you to the heart of the festival in less than 5 minutes. While service dogs are welcomed, pets and non-service dogs should stay home as there will be lots of people and busy times along Main Street.
